To create a streamlined platform for pet owners to discover trusted service providers, make informed booking decisions, and encourage responsible pet care through an easy-to-use, welfare-centered app.

Challenges

• Developing a booking system with real-time availability updates for service providers across multiple cities.
• Ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience while managing a large amount of data, such as provider profiles, reviews, and service listings.
• Maintaining app responsiveness and compatibility across different devices.

Process & Solutions

• Requirement Gathering: Collaborated with Pet No Fret’s team to understand their vision for a welfare-driven platform. We prioritized features like service discovery, booking management, and user engagement.
• Planning & Scoping: Mapped out the user journey from registration to booking and reviewing services. Defined key milestones, including UI/UX design, service database integration, and secure payment processing.

• Design & Development:

  • Front-End: Built using Flutter to ensure a smooth, cross-platform experience for iOS and Android users. Focused on creating a user-centric interface with intuitive navigation.
  • Back-End: Designed a robust system for managing service listings, real-time availability, and booking schedules. Incorporated secure APIs for payment processing.
  • Geolocation & Search Filters: Added geolocation to enable users to discover nearby pet services, with filters for pet-friendly hotels, vets, groomers, and sitters
  • Ratings and Reviews: Included a review system to foster trust and help pet owners make informed choices.

Testing & Deployment

Conducted extensive usability and load testing to ensure app performance under high user demand. Deployed on Google Play and the Apple App Store for broad accessibility.
